Board and Brew began in Del Mar, California, in 1979, and has since expanded to 16 locations in that state. The Tempe location will feature surfboard and skateboard decorations and honor the community’s military and law enforcement families. The Tempe location will open on Sept. 7.

There are also good coffee and ice tea to wash down the tasty foods. Whether you want a quick meal or to spend the day with a glass of wine, Board and Brew is worth a trip to the beach. If you’re in the area, consider stopping by the Board and Brew, a cozy coffee house/games bar. There’s over 500 board games to choose from, locally sourced coffee, and comfortable couches. You can even check out District Trivia, a trivia competition held every Thursday night. It fills up quickly, but you don’t need a reservation. Board and Brew is a great option for the gamer on a budget!

You can also order a board and brew sandwich as a catering option. You can order online or by phone, but make sure to order 24 hours in advance of pickup. If you are looking for something a little more healthy, try the spinach wrap. Board and Brew doesn’t mention its most popular sandwich, but the Chicken Club is a good choice. A $9.50 sandwich includes marinated chicken breast, bacon, melted Jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. You can add avocado, too, if you wish.
