What exactly is this portal called? MC Portal?
The MC Portal at http://mc4me.mccd.edu is where you can register for classes, make a payment, access Library databases, Canvas and student email.

I’ve forgotten My Login
When you are prompted to log in to on the MC Portal, click the “I forgot my password reset password” button to change or recover your password. For students who are new it won’t work. Follow the instructions for logging into the MC Portal for the first time in the following section. (instructions here)
Log in for the first time
The initial credentials you use to use the first time that you log into your MC Portal will be: MC Portal will be:
USERNAME: firstname.lastnameINITIAL PASSWORD: birth date in MMDDYY format
